Shawyon Jaffarbhoy

I am a Senior at Washington State University pursuing a degree in Bioengineering along with a Mathematics Minor. I have had a unique opportunity to shadow and work closely with outstanding physicians and professional bio medical engineers in this field. Through these experiences I have gained great interested in class 3 mechanical devices such as mechanical hearts, ECMO machines, defibrillators/pacemakers, and other biomedical life saving devices. 

For the future I am considering going back to school to pursue a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering. I also have hopes to start my own business or take part in a start-up. I am always looking for new opportunities that will help increase my experiences in this field.
